What Sellers Want From A Buyer

Hey, thank you for joining me for this episode of The Get Me Ready to Buy Podcast. Today we're going to be talking about what sellers want from a buyer when selling their home. But before we do, let me remind you about the buyer's success path. We talked about that in episode one. There are six parts to the buyer's success path. Partner with professionals, plan the money, pick your place, persevere through clothes, possess your home, and protect your home. You accomplish those six elements. You'll be successful in your own home that you're getting to live in, build equity in and build memories in.

So again, make sure that when you're buying a property, when you're buying a house, that you're thinking about what that seller is going to need and that you're the buyer that brings a clean, strong offer. You're the buyer who is demonstrating that you're financially stable and can make this purchase happen. Be the buyer who is considerate of a timely closing for the seller. Be the buyer who is flexible in the negotiation, who is demonstrating a win-win attitude that you're not trying to gain something at the expense of the seller, and who communicates clearly throughout the entire process. Especially if there's a hiccup, make sure you communicate that clearly.

For 33 years, Jeff served churches in Tennessee, Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi; the Arkansas Baptist State Convention; and as a trainer/consultant for churches, associations, state conventions, and LifeWay.

Jeff became a REALTOR® in 2017. Most recently, Jeff became a Certified Success™ Coach. Currently, Jeff serves on the board of the Southaven Chamber of Commerce where he is an ambassador and chair of the Membership Committee and on the board of the Northwest Mississippi REALTORS® where he chairs the Community Outreach Committee. Jeff is also a trainer for the Mississippi Association of REALTORS®.

He loves to work with his hands, whether it is a construction, landscape, or garden project. Jeff is most known for his fishing videos where he challenges others to “get a hook wet” as he enjoys doing in the pond on his land.
